The Ada Auto Club hosts a car meet Aug. 23 from 9 a.m. to noon at Ada Hotel Terrace, 7415 River St. SE. The event features a vehicle showcase by GR Auto Gallery, brunch options by Rix, and a live broadcast of the Dutch Formula 1 race from the Netherlands. The summer schedule includes meets themed around different F1 races: Monaco (June 7), Britain (July 5), Belgium (July 19), Dutch (Aug. 23), and Italy (Sept. 6). All meets run 9 a.m. to noon.
