About This Event
The Wilson County Car Club holds its First Friday Car Meet on the first Friday of each month in the HEB Parking Lot at 917 10th St. in Floresville. Cars start gathering around 6 p.m., and typically 30 to 50 vehicles turn out. Spectator admission is free.
The meet is open to any and all car types. Classics, muscle cars, trucks, hot rods, Corvettes, Camaros and motorcycles are among the vehicles that attend, and paid club membership is not required to take part in the club’s open events.
Drivers can stay for a while or cruise through, pull up a lawn chair and hang out. Food options sit adjacent to the parking area. The club favors a small-town atmosphere where people meet old friends and make new ones, and its motto is “Friends don’t come with a year, make and model.”
The club has been active for about 30 years and counts roughly 90 paid families. Anyone interested in joining can ask a club member for details.
