The Checkered Flag Hot Rod Annual is scheduled for May 16, 2026, at the Latimore Valley Fairgrounds Speedway. The event is under new management and will feature two track time sessions for Speedsters, Roadsters, and Hot Rod Coupes. Following track time, the popular single car mud runs will return, allowing participants to race two laps on the flooded track.
The event will also include bands, swap meets, vendors, DJs, food trucks, sideshow performers, artist alley, and celebrities. Pre-1969 traditional hot rods and customs will be displayed on the infield, with ample parking available. The Latimore Valley Fairgrounds is home to the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing.
