The 13th Annual Plastic Model Kit, Diecast Car, & Model Railroad Show will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at St. John Lutheran Church, 7214 Cass Ave, Darien, Illinois. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Attendees can explore at least two operating model railroad layouts and visit 75 vendor tables featuring plastic model kits, diecast vehicles, and model railroad items. The event offers food and activities for families. Admission is $5 for adults (18 and older), $2 for children ages 12 to 17, and free for Scouts in uniform and children under 12. The venue is fully handicapped accessible.
Vendor setup is available on Friday, January 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, January 17, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Vendor tables are available for $20 each. Alternatively, sellers can bring their own table and reserve space for $10.
Over 300 people attend this annual model show each year.
