The 3rd Annual Gulfport Dragway Show Stopper Car Show and Swap Meet will take place at Gulfport Dragway in North Gulfport, Mississippi. Gates open at 7:30 a.m., with car show registration from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Registration is $25, and no pre-registration is required. Admission is free to the public. Judging will be held from noon to 2 p.m., with awards presented at approximately 3 p.m.
The event features multiple car classes from pre-1940 through 2000+ and Rad Rods, with awards for the top three entries in each class, or top five with 15 or more entries. Additional awards include Show-Stopper Best of Show, Best Paint, Best Engine Bay, Best Interior, and People’s Choice. The live band will perform from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Attendees can enjoy the Full Throttle Grill concession stand, a 50/50 raffle, a free kids bicycle show, and a free automotive-related swap meet. Drag racing and test-n-tune are also included in the schedule. Gulfport Dragway is located one mile south of I-10 on Canal Road.
