The Redlines & Rescue Car Show will take place on Sunday, May 31 from 11 AM to 4 PM in front of the old Kartona in Pretty Bayou, Florida. The event is hosted by 850 Redline Girls, 850 Fade Factory, and Central Purr to support the family of Jared, a local firefighter Captain who recently passed away in a car accident. All show entries require an open donation to Jared’s family.
Car show registration runs from 10 AM to 12 PM. Voting classes include Raddest Hot Rod, Cleanest Corvette, Best Import, Baddest Bike, High Roller Award (lifted builds), Trail Boss Award (off-road builds), and the Duck Award (Jeeps), with trophies for each winner. The event also features a Car Limbo Competition and a “Biggest Donation” bidding war, with a special trophy for the highest donation.
In honor of Jared’s love for cats, donations of dry cat food and litter will be collected for Central Purr, a nonprofit cat café. Multiple vendors will be present at the event. The community is invited to attend, show their vehicles, and support Jared’s family and Central Purr.
