812 Shift, Night Drive, Speeds Dragway, and Blackout Car & Truck Club host a car show and bracket racing event June 20 at Speeds Dragway in Spencer, Indiana. Gates open at 4 p.m.
Entry gate fee is $14 per person; children 15 and under enter free. Car show entry costs $10. Bracket racing costs $35, with single passes available for $10. Test and tune sessions are offered for $30.
Car show awards include first place trophy and $50, second place trophy and $25, and third place trophy. Burnout competition awards a $5 donation minimum entry, with the champion receiving a trophy and $50.
Drivers must bring long clothing and closed shoes. Helmets are recommended but not required for street cars unless a roll cage is present or the car runs fast enough, in which case helmets are required.
