9th Annual Argonia Car Show & Street Race

The City of Argonia hosts its 9th annual car show and street race on Main Street. Registration and check-in begin at 8 a.m. at City Hall, 210 S Main St. The car show starts at 10 a.m., followed by drag races at 1 p.m. Participants must enter the car show to register for the races.

Drag race classes include True Street (hard tire), DOT tire (slick/radial), and Slick Tire. Total prize payout is $3,000. The event features food trucks, vendors, a beer garden, and local shopping. Spectators of all ages attend free. A rain date is scheduled for Oct. 10.
