The Rust Junkies Motor Club hosts its annual Rip and Roar car show Saturday, Aug. 8, at Parkers Last Stop in Parkers Prairie. Registration runs from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Free will donations benefit Johnny Rice, with contributions accepted at Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union. A raffle takes place at 5 p.m., followed by a burnout contest at 7 p.m. Sponsors include Parkers Prairie Pride of Lions, Parkers Prairie Tourism Council, The Tinker Shop, Larson Painting and All Central Contracting.
