East Sparta Community Church will host its second annual car show on Aug. 15 at 2041 Pine St. SE in East Sparta, Ohio. The event is open to all vehicles with wheels and will be held rain or shine.
Early registration begins at 10:30 a.m. A $10 registration fee applies, and dash plaques will be awarded to the first 50 registered vehicles. Twelve awards will be presented, including People’s Choice first, second and third place, Best of Show, Best Truck, Best Motorcycle, Best Rat Rod, Pastor’s Award, Outreach Award and Furthest Distance Traveled.
The Stark County Sheriff’s Office will offer children’s fingerprinting, and the East Sparta Fire Department will have emergency vehicles on display for a touch-a-truck experience. Music will be provided by DJ Spikeman. Food, drinks and raffle baskets will be available on site.
