Triple Crown Charity Car Show

The Triple Crown Charity Car Show returns to the Dennis A. Wicker Civic and Conference Center in Sanford, N.C., on Oct. 10, 2026, presented through a partnership between local car enthusiasts and Sanford Car News.

The event features three main classes. The Automotive Legends Exhibit showcases 31 legendary vehicles displayed inside the climate-controlled main hall. The Selects Display highlights 30 exceptional restored and custom-built vehicles, with 20 preselected prior to the event and 10 chosen from the Open Car Show on the day of the event. The Open Class Car Show welcomes all makes and models of cars, trucks and motorcycles. Participants may enter by making a $20 charitable donation, which also includes admission to the Automotive Legends Exhibit. Judges will score vehicles, and the top 30 will receive trophies. Registration for the Open Class closes at 1:30 p.m., with awards presented at 3:00 p.m. No pre-registration is required.

A free cruise-in option is available for spectators who wish to display their vehicles informally. Access to the indoor Automotive Legends Exhibit requires a $5 charitable donation for cruise-in participants.

Bonus attractions include a tractor show, a model car and LEGO display in the main hall, and a swap meet featuring automotive parts, oil and gas items, and antiques. Outdoor vendor spaces, food trucks, games, and model car building activities for children are also planned. Live music, door prizes and 50/50 tickets round out the event. More than 100 trophies and awards will be distributed throughout the day.
