A benefit car show will be held Aug. 15 at Freedom Center South to support Shaun Mize and his family during his recovery from colorectal cancer surgery. Classic cars, race cars and show trucks are welcome. Car entry is by donation. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with awards at noon. Hot dog plates will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Frozen Frog Lemonade will be available. Raffles will be held throughout the event.
