Dykes Creek Baptist Church hosts the Elmer Smith Memorial Car Show on September 19, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 46 Dykes Creek Church Road in Rome, Georgia. Entry fee is $20; spectators attend free.
Awards include Best of Show, Best Street Rod, Best Street Machine, Best Classic, Best Modern Classic, Best Truck, Best Rat Rod, Best Muscle Car, Best Modern Muscle, Best Tri-5, Best Import, Best 4×4, and Top Ten. The event features door prizes, a 50/50 drawing, a kids Hotwheels race, music, vendors, live entertainment, concessions, and arts and crafts. A special guest will be announced.
