The 2nd Annual Shenfest Classic Car Show takes place at Shenandoah Municipal Airport in Shenandoah, Iowa, hosted by Midwest Outlaw Garage as part of ShenFest Airport Day. The event is sponsored by O’Reilly Auto Parts.
Registration is open during the morning hours, with awards presented in the afternoon. The top 25 vehicles receive plaque awards, and a large quad-column trophy is given for Best of Show. Triple-column trophies are awarded in categories including Best Truck, Best Car, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine Bay, Best Patina, Best Ford, Best GM, Best Mopar, Best Muscle, Best Import, and Best Rat Rod. Unique awards include the Kid’s Choice Award and the Midwest Outlaw Garage Choice Award.
A fly-in breakfast featuring biscuits and gravy is available by freewill donation in the morning. The Shenandoah Veterans Memorial Museum will serve all-beef hot dogs and brats beginning at 10:30 a.m. Adult beverages will be available for guests 21 and older.
Additional activities include a Touch-A-Truck display featuring fire trucks, ambulances, law enforcement vehicles, and other emergency equipment. Airplane rides over Shenandoah will be offered throughout the day at pricing set by the organizers.
