Piston Heads Auto Club 23rd Annual Chicken & Bread Days Car Show

The Piston Heads Auto Club hosts its 23rd Annual Chicken & Bread Days Car Show on October 3, 2026, in downtown Bowie, TX. Registration runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with show time from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event takes place rain or shine.

Registration costs $25 on the day of the show. The show features 75 award categories, with class winner and runner-up awards in each category. Special awards include Best in Show, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine, Distance Traveled and Largest Club in Attendance. The first 100 registrants receive a dash plaque.
