Pistons for Patriots takes place August 22-23, 2026, at Expo New Mexico in Albuquerque. The event runs Saturday at 8:00 AM through Sunday at 6:00 PM. This premier automotive event brings together car enthusiasts, families, veterans, and local businesses for two days of horsepower and community support.
The show features classic cars and hot rods, custom builds and show vehicles, lifted trucks and diesel builds, and specialty vehicles from across the Southwest. Hundreds of entries are expected.
Live entertainment includes music all weekend, DJs and special performances, a fundraising comedy show featuring Steven Michael Quezada, and a live performance by L.A.’s Rock Revival featuring Gilby Clarke, former guitarist of Guns N’ Roses. The team from 1 Way Diesel Performance, featured on MotorTrend’s Texas Metal: Loud & Lifted, will be on hand for photos and autographs.
Family activities include a food and beer garden, raffles and giveaways, kids activities, an indoor vendor fair, and an indoor Arts & Crafts Show. A Home Remodeling Expo takes place simultaneously.
Proceeds benefit Paws and Stripes, which provides service dogs and support programs for veterans throughout New Mexico.
