NW Audio hosts its 23rd Annual Car Audio Competition & Car Show on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026, at 801 Main St. in Platte City, Mo. The event features a Midwest SPL car audio competition alongside a car show open to vehicles of all types, including cars, trucks, side-by-sides and motorcycles.
Car show registration is $25 per vehicle. Vehicle classes include 1980 and older, 1981-2000, 2001 to present, plus additional classes for trick builds, motorcycles and SXS. Midwest SPL competition entry fees are $25 for members and $30 for non-members, with registration beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Admission is free for spectators. The event also includes vendor booths, audio product giveaways and a raffle. Demo vehicles are welcome. For more information, visit nwaudio.net or call 816-858-2303.
