The 11th Annual Rust or Shine Meetup and Cruise-in takes place September 6, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gesa Credit Union. Registration is $20. The event includes a raffle. This meetup serves as a pre-meet and cruise-in for the Rust and Shine Car Show and Music Festival, a fundraiser for the Veterans Memorial Museum in Chehalis. Participants meet at multiple locations starting at 5:30 a.m. at Lakewood Park & Ride (10617 S Tacoma Way, Lakewood, WA 98499), with subsequent meetups at Super Buffet in Hawks Prairie at 6:05 a.m., Maytown Rest Area at 6:35 a.m., and Chehalis Walmart at 6:50 a.m. before arriving at the museum by 7 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, water and snacks.
