The American Legion Riders host a poker run on August 22, starting and finishing at American Legion Post 33 in Haleyville. The approximately 120-mile ride features a five-card poker hand with 50/50 payout and door prizes. Payouts go to first, second and third place, plus low hand. Registration costs $25 for riders and $10 for passengers.
Registration begins at 9 a.m., with kickstands up at 10 a.m. and last bike in at 4 p.m. A cruise-in for cars, trucks and bikes takes place at the finish, along with live music and a swap meet.
