The 19th Annual Summer of Thunder Car Show takes place August 1, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Garfield County Fairgrounds, 1000 Railroad Ave. The show is free to viewers, with owners on hand to discuss their restored and preserved vehicles.
Early registration costs $25 through July 24, 2026, via entry forms at the Garfield County Fair website. Day-of-show entry is $30. Show classes include 1900-1929, 1930-1939, 1940-1949, 1950-1959, 1960-1969, 1970-1984, 1985-2000, and Futures Class.
A swap meet allows participants to bring old parts to sell, trade, or donate. Vendor specialty booths will be on site. Swap meet table or booth space is included with show entry or available for $25. All parts must be removed at the end of the show.
