The 2nd Annual Woodland Ribs & Rods takes place Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Yolo County Fairgrounds in Woodland. This Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) sanctioned competition features 29 championship BBQ teams competing for cash prizes, KCBS points, and bragging rights.
Rib Alley allows attendees to sample barbecue from all 29 competing pitmasters and teams and vote for favorites. Rib Alley tasting tickets are available for purchase at the front entrance. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with Rib Alley open from noon to 4:00 PM.
The day includes a classic and custom car show, live entertainment, a bar and beer garden for guests 21 and older, food and specialty vendors, and family-friendly activities. The event features BBQ demonstrations and special guests.
