The Fox Valley Chapter Model T Ford Club hosts the 52nd Annual Elgin Road Race Car Show and Cruise on August 30, 2026, at The Pearl of the Fox River Valley parking lot on Larkin Avenue. The show is open to all vehicles pre-1980. Registration is $5 for show cars; spectators and kids activities are free.
The car show opens at 11:00 AM, with kids activities starting at the same time. History presentations begin at 11:30 AM and cover Elgin Area Racing History, Model T Fords, Model A Fords, and Made in Elgin. A 50/50 raffle drawing takes place at 2:00 PM, followed by trophies and awards at 3:00 PM. The event concludes with a cruise on the original Road Race Course Route at 3:30 PM.
Food is available on site. Event dash plaques and T-shirts are available on show day.
