The Promenade at Sunset Walk partners with One Purse for a charity car and truck show on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. One Purse is a nonprofit serving women reclaiming their lives after domestic abuse and trafficking.
All makes and models of show car quality are welcome. Show car entry fee is $30 for VIP Boulevard parking. The event features top 13 trophy awards, 50/50 cash raffle, and driver/spectator raffle. Trophy categories include Best of Show, Best Mopar, Best Ford, Best Import, Best Truck, Best Hot Rod, Best Chevrolet, Best Exotic, Best Modern, and Best Classic.
One Purse will collect pre-loved brand name purses. Donated purses fuel their employment program, providing jobs, skills, and a safe workplace to women who run an e-commerce purse shop. Revenues from purse sales support the program and provide scholarships. 100% of every dollar benefits One Purse.
Live music begins at 4 p.m. The event includes street performers, raffles, and more. Spectator admission is free. The event runs rain or shine. Show car drivers must present a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance for entry. No outside food and beverage allowed.
