The second annual Rail Town Throw Down, a pre-1970 hot rod show, takes place Aug. 29, 2026, at the Railroaders Memorial Museum in Altoona, Pa.
The event features food trucks, vendors, a swap meet and live music from The Boom Rockets. Attendees may also view live trains and tour the museum, with separate admission fees required for museum tours.
Car and driver registration is $10. Passenger and spectator admission is $5. The event runs rain or shine.
