Trunk or Treat – Pioneer Park

Hardee County Parks & Recreation hosts its annual Trunk or Treat at Pioneer Park in Zolfo Springs on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026. Participants are invited to explore the park, visit decorated trunks and collect candy during the trunk-or-treat portion of the evening. Costumes are encouraged and families are welcome.

Following the candy quest, the event transitions into an outdoor movie night with a screening of “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” on an outdoor screen. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and picnic blankets. A BBQ truck, pizza truck and taco truck will be on site. Those interested in hosting a trunk display and participating in the candy share can reserve a spot in advance.
