Trunk or Treat at Aldersgate United Methodist Church

Aldersgate United Methodist Church hosts its annual Trunk-or-Treat on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 360 Robert Blvd. in Slidell, La. The free family event features more than 40 decorated trunks stocked with candy, along with face painting, a cake walk, yard games and a selfie station.

Members of the local fire department and sheriff’s department are scheduled to attend and greet children throughout the evening. Food will be available for purchase through the church’s Men’s Club, which accepts cash and credit card.

Those wishing to set up a trunk may register through Oct. 12 via the church’s online form or by contacting Cecilia Richards at [email protected] or 985-641-5829. The event is free to attend, and no vendor spots are available – participating vehicles are candy-distribution trunks only.
