The Friends of Caledon State Park present Songs in the Woods, a summer music series at Caledon State Park. This recurring event takes place on the second Friday of the month from June through September, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., on the east side of the Visitor Center. The series features local artists: June 13 with Tollbooth Buskers, July 11 with Hard Corner, August 8 with Emily Woodhull, and September 12 with Darcy Dawn. Admission is free. A $5 per vehicle parking fee applies, or visitors may use their Virginia State Park pass. The event is family and dog friendly; all dogs must be well behaved and on a 6-foot maximum leash. Attendees should bring their own seating, food, and water. Restrooms in the Visitor Center will be open. The Estate at White Hall Vineyard will be on site for wine purchases (21+ with valid ID).
