The Cottage Church hosts a car show and chili and gumbo cook-off on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM at 5794 Hwy 38 in Kentwood, Louisiana. The event features classic cars, trucks and rat rods, along with a chili and chicken and sausage gumbo cook-off. Live music will be performed throughout the day. A drug awareness booth will provide educational resources. Proceeds benefit the church’s new worship center and Hope & Grace Ministry.
