17th Annual Rock N Rail Car and Motorcycle Show

The 17th Annual Rock N Rail Car and Motorcycle Show, hosted by the Griffith Indiana Firefighters Association, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, at the corner of Pine and Broad streets in Griffith, Ind. The event features more than 500 entry spaces and drew 530 entries in its most recent edition.

Check-in and day-of registration open at 2 p.m. at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (Whites Funeral Home). Participants will be released to the show site at Pine and Broad in groups. Anyone arriving at the main gate without an entry packet will be turned away. Online registration closes Aug. 24 at 10 p.m.; after that, registration is available only on the day of the show.

Entry fee is $20 per vehicle, which includes a dash plaque for the first 250 entries. Award categories include Judges Top 15, Chief’s Choice, Deputy Chief’s Choice, People’s Choice, Auxiliary Choice, Most Unique, Farthest Traveled, Top 3 Bikes, Top 5 Trucks, Best Work in Progress, and the Nick Sturr Memorial Award. Awards are presented at 8:30 p.m. at the corner of Broad and Miller (343 N. Broad St.).
