VFW Post 7686 will host its annual 9/11 Memorial Car Show on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, at the Otero County Fairgrounds in Alamogordo, N.M. The event honors the heroes and victims of September 11 under the theme “Remember. Honor. Never Forget.”
The show is open to all makes and models, including cars, trucks, motorcycles and project vehicles. Vehicle and vendor roll-in begins at 4 p.m., with the main event running from 6 to 10 p.m. Registration for vehicles is $20; general admission for the public is free.
Event highlights include trophies, live music, food vendors, local vendors and a 50/50 drawing. All proceeds benefit VFW Post 7686 and its veterans and community support programs.
The event is presented by Alamo Ford and Desert Suds Car Wash & Detail. Online registration is available via the link provided by the organizer.
