The Jimmy Buffett Labor Day Weekend Show, a free-admission benefit event, is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 6, at Emerald Waterfront Restaurant in Navarre, Fla. Proceeds will support students with special needs at Soundside High School.
The Pirates on the Panhandle Social Club is organizing the all-day event, which features a lineup of tropical rock performances. BT Turner performs from noon to 1:30 p.m., followed by Jessie Ritter from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Brent Burns from 4 to 6:30 p.m., and Jerry Diaz & the Reef closing out the evening from 7 to 10 p.m. A live parrot display is also planned.
A silent auction will include a guitar autographed by Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, a Traeger grill and accessories valued at approximately $1,000, a Turtlebox Bluetooth speaker valued at $450, Costa Del Mar sunglasses valued at approximately $300, coolers stocked with alcohol, a sunset tiki bar cruise valued at approximately $600, and a two-night stay at the Pensacola Beach Resort (formerly Margaritaville Beach Resort).
A 50/50 raffle will also be held, with prizes including gift cards from local restaurants and businesses, day passes at Springhill Suites on Navarre Beach, and a Margaritaville gift basket. Admission is free.
