VFW Post 9644 hosts its sixth annual Patriot Day Car Show on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at 2680 W. Hampden Ave. in Sheridan, Colo. The event runs rain or shine and is held in memory of Lt. Jack Gremse of the FDNY.
Vehicle registration is $20 and opens at 7 a.m. Dash plaques are available for the first 50 registered cars and motorcycles. Admission is free for spectators. Breakfast will be served from 7 to 10 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A cash bar will be available; no outside beverages are permitted.
The event features awards, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, vendors, and live music by Maverick Mike. VFW Post 9644 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting veterans.
