Cory Apple Festival Car Show – In Memory of Lloyd Hendrix

The Cory Apple Festival Car Show, held in memory of Lloyd Hendrix, takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, on the southwest festival grounds south of the Cory Firehouse in Cory, Indiana. Vehicle registration opens at 11:00 AM and runs through 1:00 PM, with judging concluding and trophies presented at 2:00 PM.

Vehicle entry is $15 day of show or $15 for mail-in pre-registration postmarked by September 18, 2026, which includes an official event T-shirt and dash plaque. Dash plaques will also be given to the first 100 vehicles to register. The judged competition awards Best of Show, Best FoMoCo, Best GM, Best MoPar, Best Other, Fireman’s Choice, Queen’s Choice, Best American Motorcycle, Best Import Motorcycle, and the Top 40 Best of the Rest.

Participants and spectators can enjoy music by the Just Cruisin Mobile DJ, a 50/50 drawing, flea market and craft vendors, community yard sales, a fireman’s breakfast from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and Jonah’s Fish Fry from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Trailer parking is available at the local church, as trailer parking is not permitted on the show grounds. Canopies are permitted front or back space permitting, but cannot be set up beside vehicles.
