Monterey County Sheriff’s Posse 12th Annual Classic Car Show

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Posse presents the 12th Annual Classic Car Show, A Day on the Green, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Monterey County Sheriff’s Posse Grounds in Salinas, California. The gathering brings together automotive enthusiasts to enjoy a day on the lawn featuring cars and trucks, good fellowship, and friendly competition.

Participant parking opens at 8:00 AM, the car show opens to the public at 10:00 AM, and the awards presentation takes place at 2:00 PM. Vehicle pre-registration is $65 and includes one BBQ chicken lunch (with beans, salad, and bread) along with an event t-shirt for the first 100 registered vehicles. Additional BBQ chicken lunch tickets are available for $20 each, and day-of-show registration will be open on site.

All pets brought to the grounds must be secured or kept on a leash. The event benefits the Monterey County Sheriff’s Posse, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting local youth through scholarships, horse and cattle exhibitions, and community traditions.
