About This Event
The Oakboro Cruise-In presents its annual Celebration of Power on Friday, September 25, 2026, in Downtown Oakboro, North Carolina. Known as one of the largest downtown cruise-in gatherings in the state, this special edition brings classic cars and modern power together for an evening of horsepower and community celebration.
Both classic cars and new cars are welcome on display, with vehicles traditionally arriving between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM ahead of the 5:00 PM official cruise-in hours. Participation and spectator admission are completely free. Parking is first-come, first-served throughout the downtown streets, and reserving spots is not permitted.
In the event of inclement weather, a scheduled rain date is set for Saturday, September 26, 2026.
