About This Event
Diesel Fuel Systems and Fernald Field Dragway host Diesel Fuel Systems Presents Diesel Day at Fernald Field Dragway in Winterport, Maine, rescheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2026. Gates open at 9:00 AM, with diesel drag racing getting underway by 11:00 AM.
The event features competitive diesel drag racing with $750 in total cash prizes awarded to the top three finishers, including $500 for first place, $150 for second, and $100 for third. Trophies will be presented for Best in Show, Fastest Diesel, and Slowest Diesel. Spectators and attendees can also enjoy local food trucks, a 50/50 raffle, and an on-site vendor fair and swap meet.
