14th Annual Island Park Trunk or Treat

The 14th Annual Island Park Trunk or Treat returns to downtown Elkhart on Saturday, October 10, 2026, hosted by City of Elkhart Parks & Recreation. Taking place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Island Park, this community Halloween event provides a safe, walkable setting for children and families to celebrate the season.

Attendees can look forward to kid-friendly trick-or-treating from creatively decorated vehicle trunks hosted by local community groups and organizations. Costumes and candy buckets are encouraged, with plenty of sweet treats and smiles planned throughout the park grounds.

Spectator admission is free for children 12 and under and their families. Attendees should enter on Sycamore Street. Vehicle trunk registration details and additional event activities will be announced by the organizer as they are finalized.
