About This Event
The 9th Annual Streets of Bakersfield Cruizin’ Shine takes place October 8-10, 2026, in Downtown Bakersfield, presented by Salty’s BBQ & Catering and Cruizin-4-Charity. Billed as the largest street car show in Bakersfield, this multi-day gathering brings together automotive enthusiasts to support local organizations serving first responders, military, veterans, and their families, including the Kern County Sheriff’s Search & Rescue Group.
Festivities kick off Thursday, October 8, with a Meet & Greet and Welcome Dinner at the Bakersfield Elks Lodge #266. On Friday evening, October 9, the event moves to Downtown Bakersfield for onsite registration check-in and the Cruizin Night closed-course cruise along Chester Avenue. Saturday, October 10, features the main street car show from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM throughout downtown, complete with live music, food vendors, merchandise booths, raffles, and family activities.
Spectator admission is free throughout the weekend. Participating vehicles—including classic cruisers, custom builds, hot rods, trucks, and motorcycles—compete across numerous award classes, with judging held Saturday morning followed by the Winners Circle and afternoon awards ceremony.
