Libertyville Recreation Candy-Free Trunk or Treat

Put on your favorite Halloween costume and head out to Adler Park for the annual Candy-Free Trunk or Treat, hosted by the Village of Libertyville Recreation Department. Attendees can explore more than 20 creatively decorated vehicle trunks and collect fun, non-candy surprises such as fidget toys, Play-Doh, rubber ducks, and pretzels.

Touch-A-Truck returns to the heart of the event, offering children hands-on opportunities to get up close to large work trucks, municipal equipment, machines, and antique tractors. Activities also include tractor rides and rope-making demonstrations presented by the Lake County Farm Heritage Association, alongside entertainment provided by a live DJ.

Admission is free, though advance registration is required for attending children, with each registered child permitting entry for up to two adults. Business trunk participants can register their vehicle display for $50.
