About This Event
The Main Street Car Show fills downtown Taylor with classic cars, muscle cars, trucks, hot rods and other vehicles. The annual event ranks among the largest car shows in Texas, drawing at least 800 vehicles in past years.
Food and drink booths operate throughout the day, and music plays all day. An Elvis tribute show closes the event with a full one-hour performance beginning at 2 p.m. on a stage with a large sound system.
Awards are presented at 2 p.m., and winners must be present to receive them. The 2026 edition adds free trick-or-treating in Heritage Square from 10 a.m. to noon.
Spectators attend free. Show vehicle parking requires registration and begins at 7 a.m., and street parking is available throughout downtown.
