New England Speed Meeting “Gathering Of The Faithful” Car Show

The New England Speed Meeting “Gathering of the Faithful” Car Show marks 24 years of old-school speed at Peirce Playground in Middleboro, Massachusetts. The gathering welcomes 1963 and older rods, customs, vintage race cars and vintage motorcycles, along with enthusiasts of vintage speed fours, sixes and eights, flatheads, nailheads, Hemis, dragsters, gassers, stock cars, sprint cars and midgets.

The show includes a vintage auto flea market, door prizes, food and refreshments including chowder, and nostalgic T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies. A door prize drawing takes place at 1:30 p.m., and winners must be present. Race cars have easy-on, easy-off trailer parking.

Spectators pay $10 at the gate, and children under 12 enter free. Vendor space costs $25 and admits two people with a car or pickup and a small trailer; space is limited and early reservation is encouraged. Attendee gates open at 9 a.m. and vendor gates open at 7:30 a.m. Pets are not allowed except for service animals.

Apparel can be reserved before the show, with payment due by Aug. 1 via PayPal or check and pickup at the show. The grounds sit off Route 105, about two miles north of the Route 105 exit ramp from Interstate 495, with access from Routes 24, 44 and 495.
