About This Event
Wisefest Trunk or Treat brings a community Halloween event to the W.I.S.E. Central Hub at 2700 W. Chicago Blvd. in Detroit on Oct. 31, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. Organizers seek 50 decorated trunks to fill five themed neighborhoods: Motown & Detroit, Storybook & Imagination, Harvest Hollow, Spooky Street and Community Heroes.
Families, neighbors, businesses, churches, organizations, alumni groups, fraternities and sororities, car clubs and community leaders are invited to claim a trunk, decorate it, wear a costume and fill it with candy for Detroit children. Prizes go to the best decorated trunk and the best costume among the candy givers. More than 600 children attended last year’s event.
Spectators attend free. Trunk participants register in advance through the signup link and choose a theme. All 50 trunk spaces are needed.
