Charity Car Show — Fraternal Order Of Police Pee Dee Lodge 25

The Fraternal Order of Police Pee Dee Lodge 25 hosts a charity car show at Darlington Raceway, with proceeds supporting Cops & Kids, law enforcement in the Pee Dee and charitable projects in the Pee Dee community. Registration for show vehicles costs $30, and the show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Vehicles are judged across classes covering production cars, Corvettes, Camaros, Mopars, Mustangs, police vehicles, production trucks, Jeeps, modified cars and trucks, motorcycles, imports, rat rods, special interest vehicles and race cars, with model-year splits within most classes. Awards include Best of Police Vehicles, All Original, Chevy, Ford and Mopar honors, plus Kids Choice and Ladies Choice. Dash plaques go to the first 100 cars.

Every vehicle entered can take laps around the historic track, though race cars and motorcycles are not allowed on the track. A $100 prize goes to one car owner if more than 100 cars enter. The show also features a 50/50 drawing, door prizes and food vendors. Spectators attend free, and the event is held at Gate 39 B off Highway 151.
