Santa’s Toy Drive Cruisin for Toys

Santa’s Toy Drive Cruisin for Toys combines a car show, a trunk-or-treat and a community toy drive at Ozark Jr. High School in Ozark, Missouri. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and spectators attend free with no admission required. Organizers encourage attendees to bring a new, unopened toy to help fill the trunk for local kids, though a donation is not required.

Car show registration costs $20 and closes at 11:30 a.m. the day of the show. Each entry can compete in three categories, with awards including Best in Show – Santa’s Pick, People’s Choice – Elves Choice, Best Classic – Santa’s Vintage Sleigh, Best Modern Muscle – Raindeer Power, Best Import – Tinsel Tuner, Best Jeep – Snowman’s Rock Crawler, Best Truck – Sleigh Hauler, Under Construction and an Ugly Sweater Award.

Trunk-or-Treat participation is free. Participants decorate their vehicles, bring candy and compete for Best Decorated – Griswold Glow Award and Most Creative – Elf-Approved Award while kids trick-or-treat from the decorated vehicles. The day also includes $5 hamburger or hot dog meal deals with chips and a drink, a 50/50 raffle, outdoor activities for kids and a photo booth.

Local car clubs are challenged to collect toys in designated donation boxes at registration, with the club gathering the most toys for local children recognized. Proceeds and donations support local kids at Christmas.
