About This Event
Countryside Christian Church hosts the Hoedown for Jesus, a family event featuring a custom car show and classic tractors alongside bounce houses, outdoor games and a hands-on petting zoo with farm animals.
Live bands play bluegrass music throughout the afternoon, and a chili cook-off invites attendees to taste entries and vote for the best. Square dancing and line dancing are open to all ages, and a community bonfire is set up for the evening.
Free popcorn, sno-cones, cotton candy, elephant ears, ice cream and hot dogs are available while supplies last. A basket raffle offers prizes, and a bake table sells homemade sweet treats.
Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and a canned good for the food pantry.
