About This Event
Coastal High School hosts a Halloween trunk-or-treat and car meet on Oct. 30 from 1 to 10 p.m. at 2100 River Oaks Dr. in Myrtle Beach. Admission is free for spectators, and car participation is also free.
Participants decorate their trunks as Halloween displays and hand out candy to children who walk from vehicle to vehicle collecting treats while viewing the decorated cars. The meet welcomes cars, trucks, motorcycles, classics, imports and exotics, and local car clubs and enthusiasts are invited to take part. The Myrtle Beach Corvette Club has previously expressed interest in bringing a group of vehicles, with up to 15 spots available for the club.
Awards go to Best Trunk Theme, Best Costume, Best Car and People’s Choice. The event also includes music, games and activities, and a car show for owners to display their vehicles. Costumes are encouraged for attendees.
All participating vehicles should arrive early for parking, setup and decorating.
