Knights of Columbus Charity Car Show

The Knights of Columbus Charity Car Show welcomes any make and model of collector car or truck, including motorcycles, to a tree-lined show field on the campus of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Largo, Florida. Councils #14456 St. Catherine of Siena and #3580 Light of Christ host the event, which raises money for The Kimberly Home through the Knights’ ASAP program.

Registration runs from 9 to 11 a.m., with pre-registration at $15 and day-of-show entry at $20. Registered exhibitors receive a free lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings. Vehicles entering the show field have their photo taken with a giant American flag. A Blessing of the Cars at 9:30 a.m. includes an invocation and special recognition of veterans, and the event also marks the nation’s 250th birthday.

The show runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free for spectators. Children can take part in the Kids Pick It award by voting for their favorite vehicle. Independent automotive professionals judge the field, with more than 50 trophies awarded, including Ten Best of Show, Father’s Choice, Special Recognition Awards, Top Veteran/First Responder, Modern and Classic categories and Kids Choice awards.

Attractions include raffle prizes, vendor and sponsor giveaways, a 50/50 drawing, music by DJ Benski B, and food options such as pulled pork sandwiches and meatball subs. Largo Fire Department firetrucks will be on display, and the Big Red Bus will accept blood donations. The show field is a tree-lined parking lot mixing grass and pavement with room to spread out. Registration is available online, and vendor or sponsor inquiries go to [email protected].
