Veteran’s Day Resident Parade & Cruise-In With Our Veterans

The Boulder City Cruisin Association, the Piss & Moan Club and the Nevada State Veterans Home partner on a Veterans Day resident parade and cruise-in at the Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City, Nev. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 11.

Participating vehicles begin lining up along Veterans Memorial Drive at 9 a.m., and volunteers direct registered vehicles into designated display spaces. At about 9:20 a.m. the cars enter the veterans home parking lot and make a short parade around the circular driveway. A car show follows from about 9:30 a.m. until noon.

Admission is free for spectators, and vehicle registration is free for the first 120 cars. Advance registration is required, and organizers ask drivers to register only if they are certain they can attend and stay through noon.

Registered car show participants receive food during the event. Carl’s Donuts provides breakfast, and Railroad Pass Hotel & Casino provides lunch, scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon.
