Petco Paws & Community Day

Petco Paws & Community Day takes over the Petco parking lot at 9638 US Hwy 19 N in Port Richey, Florida, on Nov. 14, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free, and the day is open to families and their pets.

A car show staged with the Hernando/Pasco car community presents 50 awards, and judged vehicle entry costs $20. A pet adoption and rescue row connects visitors with local rescue groups and organizations that rehabilitate animals.

Community Heroes Touch-a-Truck brings first responders and emergency vehicles for visitors to see, and a kids zone offers bounce houses, games and activities. A pet vendor village gathers groomers, trainers, veterinarians, pet services and photographers, and a pet photo area is set aside for pictures. Santa Claus is scheduled to appear, and a pet parade lets owners show off their animals.

Food trucks, music, raffles and giveaways round out the afternoon, along with Petco shopping and event specials. Local businesses, animal rescues and rehabilitation groups can set up tables, and food trucks must carry insurance.
