Cops & Rodders Car Show

The Cops & Rodders Car Show runs 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 31 at the barn and farmhouse area of Glasgow Park in Newark, Delaware. The Ronnie Williams Foundation hosts the event, with Friends of the County Mounted Patrol, Delaware State FOP and local lodges as co-hosts. The show runs rain or shine, and gates open at 8 a.m.

Spectators enter free. Vehicle entry is $15 for early-bird registration through Oct. 30 and $20 on the day of the event. Antique cars, hot rods, classics, modified vehicles, police vehicles and SWAT trucks are eligible, and tractors and fire trucks are welcome. Awards go to the top 10 in categories, people’s choice and best in show.

A kids’ costume contest and a pet costume parade are part of the day, with candy at every car. Pets with responsible owners are welcome in costume. Police displays, food trucks and vendors fill out the event, and police display spaces of 10 by 10 feet or vehicles are free. Vendor tables are available for $25 per 10-by-10 space.

Proceeds support hospitality programs for The Ronnie Williams Foundation, FOP lodges, Friends of the Mounted Patrol and The Delaware Law Enforcement Thank You Ride.
